shenzhen...went there...left quickly

shenzhen is the chinese city that sits opposite the territory of hong kong. it is the night to hong kong's day...the yang to hong kong's ying. if crossing into communist china for the first time wasn't a bit stressful enough, it took us less than 30 minutes of begging children and agressive touts to decide this wasn't the place for us. absolutely no redeeming qualities to the place unless, maybe, you go there for business with a chinese escort. one of those "border town's". if given a choice to go to shenzhen, simply say no.
